Pre-Authorizations
When you place an order, Bath & Body Works contacts your bank to confirm your payment method. Your bank reserves the funds until the transaction is processed or the authorization expires. This is not an actual charge.

Payment Not Processed
If your payment could not be processed, you may still see a pending authorization from your bank. If you corrected your information and resubmitted the order, you’ll also see a pre-authorization for the final submission. This can look like a double charge, but it’s temporary.

Multiple Shipments
Sometimes orders are fulfilled in multiple shipments. Because we charge items when they ship, you may see multiple charges. However, the total amount will match what you saw at checkout.
